An apprenticeship with us enables you to learn the demanding activities and processes of a modern industrial company. In addition to developing your professional competence, training also gives you the opportunity to develop yourself personally, to recognize and expand your strengths.
Your work
As a materials tester (m/f/d), you will examine metals for their properties, composition and possible defects.
You will learn how to operate the vending machines and semi-automatic machines and how to evaluate their results. Accuracy is an absolute must, as everything is documented down to the smallest detail. Materials testers (m/f/d) are an integral part of industry because they decide whether materials are suitable for production or not.
At vocational school, the timetable includes, of course, a lot of materials science, chemistry, but also electrical, mathematical and physical basics.
In addition to science subjects, English is also helpful, because you will certainly be consulted when purchasing products with international customers.
What you should bring
In order to train as a materials tester (m/f/d) with us, you should have completed school education with good knowledge of mathematics, physics and chemistry. Spatial awareness, technical understanding and, of course, the ability to work in a team are also important. Because even the best individual player is only successful as a team.
What we offer you
With WALZEN IRLE, you are constantly learning something new. There is no such thing as boredom with us. As an apprentice, you are important to us, because good young talent ensures the future of our company and that of our employees.
We place the highest value on human values. Respect and appreciation among colleagues are particularly important in order to feel comfortable at work.
We were able to offer many of our trainees permanent employment following their training. We train for our own needs and look closely at who suits us.
For 2022, we do not offer a training position as a materials inspector (m/f/d).
