We are offering an apprenticeship position starting August 1, 2026, as a Process Technologist specializing in Iron and Steel Metallurgy (m/f/d)

Your job:

These days, nothing works without metal. For example, all machines are made of metal parts. And what does a process engineer (m/f/d) have to do with this? He creates these parts!

  • Monitoring, Controlling, and Regulating the Respective Production Process

  • Collection of operational data and process control displays, as well as their analysis

  • Identifying disruptions in the production process and taking steps to resolve them

  • Skimming and slag removal from the melt, as well as post-treatment

  • Quality assurance (sample collection and analysis)

  • Transporting, Securing, and Storing Materials, Equipment, and Finished Products

Your work is a combination of physical exertion and intense concentration, because working with molten metal always requires your full attention.
As a process engineer (m/f/d), you play a vital role in the manufacture of products that wouldn’t exist without you.

What you should bring:

To pursue an apprenticeship with us as a Process Technologist specializing in Iron and Steel Metallurgy (m/f/d) , you should have completed high school with good grades in math and the natural sciences. It’s also important to have manual dexterity and an interest in metalworking, spatial awareness, attention to detail and the ability to concentrate, physical stamina, and, of course, the ability to work well with others; after all, even the best individual player can only succeed as part of a team.
