Production processes such as grinding, milling, crushing, breaking, and mixing require roller materials and designs specifically tailored to these applications. They determine the quality of the resulting product and the cost-effectiveness of production. Rollers influence process profitability through their service life, reliability, wear and maintenance costs, as well as cooling or heating performance in the case of heated rollers.
We supply the food industry with all standard types of rollers, ranging from small grinding or crushing rollers with diameters starting at approximately 200 mm to large rollers for flaking mills with diameters exceeding 800 mm. The design of the rollers and the surface finish—whether “smooth or grooved”—is customized to the specific application and process technology.
For the rolling process in food production, we offer various designs, including systems with peripheral boreholes for optimal heating or cooling of the rolls.
